On December 9th, 2023, the Savanna Kidney Aid Foundation conducted a radio talk on Sawaba FM 104.9 in Hadejia, Jigawa State. The talk featured Dr. Mujahid Sanusi Rabi’u, a Nephrologist, who provided valuable insights into the prevailing kidney disease, its risk factors, and strategies for prevention and management.

Dr. Mujahid Sanusi’s expertise and informative discussion shed light on the importance of kidney health and ways to mitigate risks associated with kidney disease within the community. During the program, Eng. Suleiman Hadejia revealed that the Governor of Jigawa State has given his approval for the establishment of four dialysis centres in each of the senatorial districts within the state. This milestone has been achieved thanks to the relentless efforts of the Fatima & Maifulani Foundation and Savanna kidney aid foundation.
